Molly Ann Valencia, 68, of Granite City, Ill., born Dec. 18, 1947, in Granite City, Ill., passed away at 10:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center, Edwardsville, Ill.
She retired in 2006 from Anheuser Busch in St. Louis, Mo., after 28 years of dedicated service as a beer brewer. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. She had a special love for animals and cherished her dogs, Kato and Max. She enjoyed her days of traveling, playing softball, folk "fiesta" dancing and swing dancing, and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel R. and Mollie M., nee Fernandez, Valencia; four brothers, Manuel R. Valencia, Albert Valencia, Roy Valencia and Michael Valencia.
Surviving are six brothers and two sisters, Rufus (Shirley) Valencia of Granite City, Ill., Donald (Sue) Valencia of Missouri, Terry (Sandra) Valencia of Granite City, Ill., Stanley (Eileen) Valencia of Granite City, Ill., Mary (Don) Lowe of Granite City, Ill., Sally (Frank) Stevens of Granite City, Ill., Joey Valenica of Granite City, Ill., and Billy Valencia of Granite City, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Binnie Valencia of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Kay Valencia of Granite City, Ill.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces; great-nephews, and other extended family and many friends.

Visitation: In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Memorial services will b e held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Irwin Chapel. A family graveside service will be held at a later date at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
