Nancy Evelyn Richardson, of O'Fallon, Ill., born March 5, 1935, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005.
Nancy had many accomplishments in her life. She was a successful career woman, dedicated wife and a loyal, supportive mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilhoit Richardson; her parents, Monroe and Fanny, nee Thomas, Thompson; a brother, Clarence Monroe Thompson; and a sister, Ethyl Jean Carter.
She is survived by a son, Roy William(Elvira) of Oklahoma City, Okla., a daughter, Elizabeth Anne (Mark) Lewellen of Choctaw, Okla.; a son, John David (Patty) of O'Fallon, Ill.; and a son, James Edward (Shellie) of Swansea, Ill.; grandchildren, Roy William Jr. (Natalie), Denis Andreevich, Angela Marie (Mike) Karry, Kathryn Michelle, Sarah Kristine, John Dalton, Logan Hope, Jordan
Dallas, Braeton Edward and Kyle James; and great grandson, Bradley Michael; three sisters, Phyllis (Wes) Keaton of Ky., Martha Lunsford of California, and Molly Sedrick of Ill.; and a brother, James R. Thompson of Ky.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, O'Fallon, Ill., with Father Paul Dobkowski officiating. Additional funeral service and burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005.
