Nancy James Sheppard 80, of Liberty, Mo., born Nov. 17, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Okla., passed away at her home on Thursday, April 14, 2016 of complications from Alzheimer's
Nancy grew up in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Sunset High School and Hardin Simmons University, and spent her life serving others as wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and office manager. She was devoted to her family and her church, and received great joy from teaching Sunday school and entertaining and cooking for others in her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Sheppard; a daughter, Sharon; a granddaughter, Alexis Nasteff; and her parents, Robert A. and June James.
Surviving are a daughter, Cindy and Kathy Sheppard; grandchildren, Trey and Madison Nasteff; a sister, Carol Ann James Norman (Paul); and the many people whose lives she touched with hers.
Nancy's sole goal in life was to help others, and life was cut short by the tragic disease of Alzheimer's.
