Patrick "Pat" J. Crook, 90, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born March 22, 1925, in Tipton, Ill., died Sunday, February 14, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospital with his family by his side.
Pat proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific.
He married the love of his life and together they shared 59 years of marriage. Pat enjoyed gardening and yard work, but his most precious moments were those spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Ann, nee Dugan, Crook; and three of his siblings.
Surviving is his wife, Cathryn, nee Noverio, Crook; his son, Dennis (Chuck Friedman) Crook; a sister, Gertrude "Tiny" Swantner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral: A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the church. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
