Paul Schwalb

Paul Robert Schwalb, 52, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Nov. 13, 1963, in Highland, Ill., passed away at 3:41 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, in Greer's Ferry, Arkansas.

Paul worked alongside his father at Modern Wholesale Supply and was a manager at Crescent Parts in Pontoon Beach, Ill. When not at work, Paul enjoyed fishing with friends, time with family and hunting for deer and turkey with his sons John and Nick. Paul also loved spending time with family, having fish fries, attending Annie's volleyball and basketball games; William's hockey games; scuba diving and deep sea fishing in Aruba with his wife, Jennifer; and carpentry. He also made his own fishing lures which allowed him to catch several trophy fish over the years.

Paul was part owner of the Devil's Fork Resort Association in Greer's Ferry, Arkansas where he guided many family members and friends fishing. He always had a big heart, great advice, a helping hand, and will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian Schwalb.

Paul is survived by his wife, Jennifer who was the love of his life, whom he married on March 13, 2013, and her children, Annie and William, and his two sons, Nick Schwalb and John (Tiffany) Schwalb.

Also surviving are his sister, Joan (Kim) Ketcham, nephew, Kerry (Jessie) Ketcham, and children, Kylie and Koy, Katie (Justin) Chambers; sister, Rhonda Schwalb, and nephew, Logan Schwalb; brother-in-law, Bobbie (Mandy) Wright; sister-in-law, Amanda Wright, and niece, Mariah; stepmother, Nancy Schwalb; stepbrother, Brian Cox and family; stepsister, Alyssa Maxwell and family; and half brother, Blair A.
