Pauline Mary Neurohr, 97, of Columbia, Ill., born March 17, 1919, in Columbia, Ill., passed away April 7, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Pauline was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, Ill. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed quilting and donating many quilts to the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Benny" Neurohr, whom she married on Feb. 21, 1946, in Columbia, Ill., and who died Feb. 15, 2002; parents, Frank and Clara, nee Wecker, Thoma; two brothers and a sister, Lorenz Thoma, Frank Thoma, and Sophie Thoma; and a son-in-law, Gary DeBourge.
Surviving are her children, Patricia DeBourge of Columbia, Ill., Mary (Gene Funk) Neurohr of Elkville, Ill., Betty Roberts of Columbia, Ill., and Bernard F. (Gail) Neurohr of Bay City, Texas; brother, Leo (Gloria) Thoma of Columbia, Ill.; grandchildren, John A. (Sally) DeBourge, Cmdr. Michelle DeBourge, Sarah Imhoff, Joshua (Misti) Funk, Christopher (Tracy) Roberts, Stephen Roberts, Bryan B. Neurohr, and Nickolas S. Neurohr; 14 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, Ill., with Father Carl Scherrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia, Ill.
