Penka "Pat" Tsigolaroff, 97, of Granite City, Ill., formerly of Madison, Ill., born March 28, 1918, in Madison, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Fountain View Manor in Granite City, Ill.
Mrs. Tsigolaroff was a member of Holy Trinity Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church in Madison, Ill. She was active in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, DeMolays Mothers Club and had worked in the garment industry in St. Louis, Mo., in the 40's and 50's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Tsigolaroff, whom she married in 1957 and who died in 2004; her parents, Simeon and Maria Barzoff; and brothers, Steve Barzoff and Pete Barzoff.
Surviving are sons, Anthony (Christine) Tsigolaroff of Decatur, Ill., and Nicholas (Trina) Tsigolaroff of Granite City, Ill.; grandchildren, Stacy (Matt) Mills, and Alex and Phillip Tsigolaroff; and great-grandson, John Mills.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church, 1300 Grand Ave., Madison, Ill. 62060 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Visitation: Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Davis Funeral Home, 2060 Cleveland Blvd., Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at the funeral home with Father Evon Malinov officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
