Randy DeWayne Owens, 55, of Biloxi, Miss., formerly of Granite City, Ill., passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, in Biloxi, Miss.
He was born December 10, 1960, in Granite City, Ill., a son of the late James F. and Sylvia M., nee Babb, Owens. He married Sabine, nee Amos, Owens on Sept. 5, 1991, in Hinesville, Ga., and she survives.
The U.S. Army veteran proudly served his country with 20 years of dedicated service, and retired in 2007. He enjoyed his days of traveling, photography, studying history, collecting coins and riding his bike. He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Sabine, nee Amos, Owens; a brother, Timothy W. (Denise) Owens Sr., of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Angela Lynch of Otterville, Mo.; two nephews, Timothy (Amy) Owens of Granite City, Ill., and Joshua Owens of Granite City, Ill.; a niece, Heather Owens-Jacob of Otterville, Mo.; two great-nephews, Aiden and Benjamin; and four great-nieces, Brooklyn, Dakota, Makenzie and Carly.

Visitation: In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at the funeral home with Father Jeff Holtman officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill.
