Richard Edward Hendricks, 58, of Belleville, Ill., born May 16, 1957, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Hendricks was a member of Laborers Local 110, St. Louis, Mo. A U.S. Army veteran, Richard served with Echo Company, 3rd Engineering Division, and Bravo Company, 133rd Signal Battalion, 33rd Brigade. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Arvel Hendricks; and a brother, Michael Hendricks.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy, nee Baker, Hendricks of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Diane Hendricks of Belleville, Ill.; two brothers, Brian (Karen) Hendricks and Paul (Susan) Hendricks, both of Collinsville, Ill.; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.
