Richard Keith Thomas, 54, of Granite City, Ill., born April 20, 1960, in St. Louis, Mo., died at 2:17 p.m. Friday. August 29, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., from injuries he sustained in a hit and run accident.
Richard loved animals, horse racing and fishing. He was an avid St. Louis sports fan. He was employed with Elite Staffing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Alexander and Wanda Marie, nee Goode, Thomas.
Surviving are two sisters; Sondra Lee Crisel of Granite City, Ill., and Pat (James) Jump of Hillsboro, Ill.; a brother, Steve Arthur (Jeannie) Thomas of South Carolina; an uncle, Fred (Edwinna) Goode of Spencer, Okla.; his cousin and best friend, Gary J. Chandler of Collinsville, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Laura Lowe, Angela (Kelly) Padgeett, Melissa Lowe, James V. Jump, and Amy Lowe Fernandez; great-nieces; great-nephews, and many cousins from Oklahoma and Kentucky.
