Ricky D. Kenner, Sr., 57, of Cahokia, Ill., born Nov. 20, 1958, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, at his residence.
Rick retired as Traffic Manager from Budnick Convertiing, Inc. where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Kenner; his mother and step-father, Helen and Harvey Long; his grandparents, Violet and James Miller, and Ray and Jessie Kenner; and his father-in-law, Frank W. Braun.
Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Peggy, nee Veteto, Kenner; his children, Ricky "Dwayne" (Terri) Kenner, Jr. of Columbia, Ill., Tiffany (John) Canull of Columbia, Ill.; his grandchildren, Regan, Brooke, Brody and Bentley; his siblings, Pamela (Bill) Barlow of Waterloo, Ill., Brenda Barlow of Dupo, Ill., Mickey (Kay) Kenner of Dupo, Ill., Scott (Chris) Kenner of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Tim (Cindy) Kenner of Dupo, Ill., Deena (Brian) Luster of Pacific, Mo., and Rex Long of Dupo, Ill.; his aunt and uncle, Sherry (Paul) Bartolucci of Willow Park, Texas; and his aunt, Jessie Kenner of Amarillo, Texas. Dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
Visitation: Friends may from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016, and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral procession to leave at 12:30 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016, from Braun Colonial Funeral Home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Ill., for a 1 p.m. Funeral Mass with Father Linus Umoren officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
