Robert G. "Rob" Hyatt, 58, of Waterloo, Ill., born March 27, 1957, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Monday, June 22, 2015, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Rob was a retired mud, taper, and painter and he belonged to the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. He was always fun to be around with his warm personality and sense of humor. Rob worked hard and played golf harder. He was a loving father to his children and a dear friend to many. He always had a joke to tell and that grin on his face that will be missed by anyone who knew him.
Surviving are his parents, Gene and JoAnn, nee Weissert, Hyatt; children, Andrew, Zachary, and Sadie Hyatt; fiancee, Sue Row, Sue's children, Aaron and Phil Rheinecker; siblings, Steven (Davina) Hyatt, Christine (Robert) Meehan, Gene, Jr. "Pete" (Lori) Hyatt, Cynthia Hyatt, Kathleen (Daniel) Kurowski, Douglas (Monica) Hyatt, Clara "Cissy" (Bill) Harrison, Keri Hyatt, and Edwin Hyatt; along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Lawlor Funeral Home, Columbia, Ill.
Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at St. James Catholic Church, Millstadt, Ill., with Father Marvin Volk officiating. Cremation was held.
