Rodolfo Romo, 46, of Fairmont City, Ill., born April 1, 1968, in Jalostotitlan, Jalisco, Mexico, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, in Granite City, Ill.
Rodolfo was a supervisor at Totall Metal Recycling in Granite City, Ill. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and previously served as a trustee for the church and he has served as trustee for Fairmont City since 2002.
Rodolfo was a wonderful husband, father, and son as well as a great role model for many. He will always live in our hearts. God bless him and his family.
Surviving are his wife, Margarita, nee Martin, Romo; his children, Adriana Romo (Mauricio Ornelas), Graciela Romo, Jose Rodolfo Romo and Fatima Romo, all of Fairmont City, Ill.; his parents, Jose Asuncion and Serapia Romo of Fairmont City, Ill.; his siblings, Juan Carlos (Georgina), Miguel (Maricela) Romo, Ernelinda Gutierrez (Jose Carmen), Marta (Thomas) Markovich, Roberto Romo, Lucia (Michael) Melvin and Ricardo (Jessica) Romo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, Ill., with Father David Wilke officiating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
