Ronald L. "Ronnie" Griesbaum, 53, of Lebanon, Ill., born Aug. 15, 1963, in Breese, Ill., died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at his home with his family by his side.
Ronnie was a street laborer for city of Lebanon, Ill., and worked on a farm. He loved his family and especially his daughters. He liked fishing, watching football, sports, rides in the country and the outdoors in general. He enjoyed working, whether it was cutting grass, farming, for the city or with plants, just about anything that involved the outdoors.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Laurine, nee Willmann, Griesbaum; and his father-in-law, Charles "Fritz" Rutherford.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly, nee Rutherford, Griesbaum, whom he married on Aug. 14, 1993, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon, Ill.; daughters, Sarah (Angie Alexander) Gray of South St. Louis, Mo., Rachel Gray of Lebanon, Ill., and Rebecca Griesbaum (boyfriend, Cody Wanserski) of Lebanon, Ill.; brother, Richard (Sandy) Griesbaum of Waterloo, Ill.; mother-in-law, Charlene Rutherford of Lebanon, Ill.; nephews, Justin (Anna) Griesbaum and Andrew (Erica) Griesbaum; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Meyer Funeral Home, Lebanon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Meyer Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Donald C. Wagner officiating. Interment will be in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Ill.
