Ruth H. Hill, 91, of Stow, Ohio, formerly of East St. Louis, Ill., born Aug. 13, 1922, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Heritage of Hudson.
Mrs. Hill graduated from East St. Louis Lincoln High School and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She was employed by the U.S. Air Force for over 40 years as an equal employment opportunity specialist. She was a member of the O'Fallon Women's Club, The O'Fallon Library Board, and the Blessed Savior Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon C. Hill; her parents, Ernest and Annie Hoover; two sisters, Cecile Edwards and Wyvetter Younge; and a brother, Roscoe Hoover.
Surviving are her brother, Herbert (Geraldine) Hoover; her nieces, Margaret (Eddie) Hewitt, Marilyn Merry, Hazel Edwards, Adriane (Haywood) Perry, and Terri Hoover; and her nephews, Reginald Hoover, Torque Younge, Gerald (Barbara) Edwards, and Conrad Hoover.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Blessed Savior Lutheran Church, O'Fallon, Ill., with Pastor Vern officiating.
