Terry Burns

Terry James Burns, 61, of Maryville, Ill., born June 1, 1955 in St. Louis, Mo., passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Terry was a 1973 DeSmet High School graduate. He was a finish carpenter for O'Shea Brothers, and at one time worked for Deaconess Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, boating, building, watching Cardinals Baseball, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil Rutherford and Earlene, nee Leonard, Burns.

Surviving are his fiancee, Lisa Holladay of Maryville, Ill.; two sisters, Colleen Ann Burns of Spokane, Wash., and Christal Ferlisi of Watertown, Mass.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Gloria Mundy of Maryville, Ill.; brother-in-law, James (Stacy Capps) Mundy Jr., of Maryville, Ill.; sister-in-law, Kelly Mundy of Maryville, Ill.; four nieces, Joy (Peter) Lin of Memphis, Tenn., Katie (Luke) Henry of Arlington, Mass., Jennifer Ferlisi of Watertown, Mass., and Marinda Schneider of Maryville, Ill.; two nephews, Kyle and Mitchell Mundy of Maryville, Ill.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Elijah Rutherford Lin, Shoshana Bethel Lin and Ezra Robert Henry.

Funeral: Upon his wishes, cremation was held. Private burial will be in Kendall Cemetery, South Woodstock, Vt.
