Thomas W. Keck, 71, of Collinsville, Ill., born September 10, 1944, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, at his home with his loving family by his side.
On June 3, 1967, Tom married Catherine "Kay" Self, the love of his life in East St. Louis, Ill. Tom was a United States Navy veteran who proudly served his country with honor. He had retired from Ameren Illinois as a lineman in 2006 after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a proud member of IBEW Local 309 in Collinsville, Ill. Tom loved nature; he was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working on his property. He was a selfless hard working man who thought of others before himself. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Tom loved life, but most of all he loved his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. Keck Sr., and Dorothy, nee Genetti, Keck.
Surviving are his devoted wife, Kay Keck of Collinsville, Ill.; loving son, Michael Keck of Marine, Ill., and loving daughter, Tina (Terry) Williams of Godfrey, Ill.; proud grandfather to Lauren Keck, Lindsey Keck, Alexis Williams and Avery Williams; extended family and many friends.

Funeral: In celebration of his life, private services will be held at a later date.
