Timothy Moser

Timothy Edward "Tim" Moser, 53, of Arnold, Mo., formerly of Cahokia, Ill., born March 29, 1963 in Belleville, Ill., journeyed to his eternal rest on Aug. 25, 2016 at his residence.

Tim was employed by Saint Louis University School where he worked since 1988 as senior systems analyst for the information department. Tim graduated from Assumption High School in 1981, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1987 with a B.A.'s in mathematics and computer science. He was a member of St. David's Parish in Arnold, where he had served on both the school and athletic boards. He served as a long-time volunteer coach for the Catholic Youth Council Sports Leagues, also active in the South County YMCA Softball league. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6018 in Arnold, Mo., Jefferson County Youth Association, a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Saint Louis University Billikens. As an accomplished runner and athlete his greatest joy was snow skiing with his family. He excelled as a skier and created many cherished memories with family and friends on the slopes of Brighton, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom A. and Lois, nee McCasland, Moser; a brother-in-law, David P. Dorris; and grandparents.

Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Susan G., nee Dorris, Moser; his loving daughter, Alicen E. Moser of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas A. Moser of Fitchburg, Mass., and Richard A. Moser of Arlington, Va.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William P. and Donna S. Dorris; a brother-in-law, William Dean (Lisa) Dorris; a sister-in-law, Anne-Marie (Matthew) Foret; nieces and nephews, Ariel, Hannah, Thomas Moser, Ashley Trebing, Brittany Clark, Hope and Grant Foret. He was a dear friend to many.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd., Columbia, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 at the funeral home.
