Tyler Stephen Trokey, 22, of Breese, Ill., born Dec. 28, 1986, in Belleville, Ill., died Friday August 7, 2009 in Marissa, Ill.
Tyler was a proud organ donor and was a laborer for Laborers International Union of North America Local 670 in O'Fallon, an avid outdoorsman and athlete. He graduated Mater Dei High School in Breese, IL., class of 2005. Tyler was a very charismatic young man who lit up a room and made everyone feel blessed whose lives he touched, he was truly an angel.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Isaac L. "Ike" and Shirley L., nee Cook, Trokey; grandmother, Nita, nee Kramer, Jackson; uncles Michael and John Trokey and Jay Jackson; and an aunt, Patricia Mueller.
Tyler is survived by his parents Mark Stephen and Constance, nee Jackson Trokey of Breese, Ill.; a brother, Seth Benjamin Trokey of Breese, Ill.; six aunts, Jacqueline Suzanne (Gino) Capello of Lebanon, Ill., Laura (Dave) Owens of New Baden, Ill., Joyce (Tom) Overton of Belleville, Ill., Elizabeth (Tim) Wise of Fort Myers, Fla., Jeanne (George) Koehler of Kokomo, Ind., and Sherry Kruger (special friend, David Mann) of Mascoutah, Ill.; five uncles, Richard (Melinda) Trokey of Steeleville, Ill., Kenneth (Jeannie) Trokey of Trenton, Ill., John Jackson of Greenville, Ill., Michael Jackson of Carlyle, Ill.; and Don Mueller of New Baden, Ill. Tyler is also survived by an abundance of cousins and many special friends including the love of his life, Natalie Jimmerson of New Baden, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Avenue, O'Fallon, Ill. There will be a Laborers walk-thru at 7 p.m.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at the funeral home with Father Von Deeke officiating. Burial will follow in O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
