Victor F. Mueth, 81, of Paderborn, Ill., born July 15, 1934, in Millstadt Township, Ill., died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill., surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Mueth was employed in the construction industry before his retirement and a member of the Construction and Laborers Local 459. He was also involved in farming on the family farm. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Paderborn, Ill. Victor was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne E. Mueth; his parents, Michael and Martha, nee Neff, Mueth; a sister, Sally Krupp; three brothers, Edward, Joseph and Cletus Mueth; and a sister-in-law, Genelle Mueth.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Estelle, nee Kreher, Mueth, whom he married on Nov. 26, 1957; six grandsons, Benjamin (Rebecca) Mueth, Jonathan (Holly) Mueth, Tyler Mueth, Andrew Mueth (fiancee Jenna Voegtle), William Mueth, and Dylan Mueth; two great-grandchildren, Braydon and Bryson Mueth; a daughter-in-law, Jane M. Mueth of Paderborn, Ill., and friend Duane Waeltz; a sister, Anna (Clyde) Kreher of Hecker, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Mueth of St. Louis, Mo., and Joan Mueth of Waterloo, Ill.; a brother-in-law, David Krupp of Freeburg, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, to the Belleville Diocesan Ministry to the Sick and Aged, or as Memorial Mass offerings. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Paderborn, Ill., with Father Jim Voelker, Father Gene Neff, Father Stanley Konieczny and Father Von Deeke concelebrating. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Paderborn, Ill.
