Virginia Rose Leninsky, 76, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Aug. 13, 1939, in Alton, Mo., passed away Wednesday morning, June 22, 2016, at her home, in O'Fallon, Ill.
Virginia attended St. Clare Catholic Church, where she participated with the St. Clare Seniors. She had worked as a sales associate at various locations, primarily Famous-Barr, and Scott A.F.B. commissary. She was a former bowler at Scott A.F.B. bowling league.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vivian Henry "V.H." Sisco and Helen Aleta, nee Holmes, Sisco; her son, Calvin Thurman Waits; a grandson, Christopher Waits; and two brothers, V.J. Sisco and Kenneth Olan Sisco.
Surviving are her husband, Ret. USAF CMSgt. Walter Leninsky, whom she married Aug. 21, 1968, in Wichita, Kan.; her children, Shannon Marie Waits of O'Fallon, Ill., Royce Gene Waits of Coldwater, Miss., Michael Shawn Leninsky of Fulton, Mo., and Walter Leninsky, III, of Belleville, Ill.; and a granddaughter, Caitlin Waits.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Clare Catholic Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1411 Cross St., Shiloh, Ill., with Rev. James Deiters presiding. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
