Wanda Evelyn Lee, nee Poole, 78, of Mascoutah, Ill., born Dec. 15, 1937, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Wanda was retired from housekeeping at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelley Woodrow Kinder and Verda May, nee Poole, Kinder Caveness; her husband, James K. Lee whom she married on Aug. 23, 1959, in Belleville, Ill.; and a son, Steven Paul Lee.
Surviving are four daughters, Eva M. Lee of Mascoutah, Ill., Debra Lilley of New Baden, Ill., Hollie (Brad) Williams of Addieville, Ill., and Rhonda (Frank) Stroder of St. Libory, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Cynthia (Jadon) Schank, Nancy Lee Lilley, John David Lilley, Brett Stroder, Douglas Stroder, Nicholas Williams, and James Kenneth Lee; a brother, Kenneth (Mary) Kinder of Scott City, Mo.; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
