Wilfred Scott, 90, of Cahokia, Ill., born Dec. 28, 1925, in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Scott was retired from American Zinc, Sauget, Ill., and Golden Dipt, Millstadt, Ill. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a former member of Bethel United Church, Cahokia, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Margaret, nee Fogilpohl, Scott; four brothers, Elmer, Arthur, Milton, and Harry Scott; and a sister, Betty Cross.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Betty, nee Beatty, Scott; and two sons, Richard Allen (Betty Jo) Scott of Dupo, Ill., and Mark Alan (Jan) Scott of University City, Mo. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at the funeral home, with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
