Willard M. Payne, 70, of Hamel, Ill., born Friday, March 30, 1945, in East Saint Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at his residence in Hamel, Ill.
Willard worked as an owner for Willard's Tailor Shop and Formal Wear in Fairview Heights, Ill., and Champagne and Lace Bridal in Collinsville, Ill. He was a member of Gothic Lodge 852 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine and BNI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard T. and June A., nee Morrison, Payne.
Surviving are his wife, Debra L., nee Miller, Payne of Hamel, Ill.; his sons, Jason Black of Belleville, Ill., Jeff (Pam) Black of Worden, Ill.; a sister, Carol Wells of O'Fallon, Ill.; his grandchildren, Austin Black, Carly Black, Sydney Black, Bridget Black; a niece, Tricia Wells of Seattle, Wash.; and a nephew, Scott Wells of Seattle, Wash.
