William H. "Skip" Shumway, 68, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1947, in Chester, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Eunice C. Smith Nursing Home in Alton, Ill.
Skip was the owner of Complete Communications. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Ill., the American Legion in Alton, Ill., and the Yorktown Tuesday Night Golf League. He was also a United States Vietnam War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae, nee Lueth, Waters.
Surviving are his wife, Pamala K., nee McFadden, Shumway of Fairview Heights, Ill.; daughter, Nikki (Nick) Moxley of Fairview Heights, Ill.; brothers, Jim and Marvin; sisters, Patty and Sandy; and his pride and joy, twin granddaughters, Ellie and Jade.
Skip was a true friend to so many!

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Brian Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
