William "Lin" Spicer 80, of Pontoon Beach, Ill., born June 28, 1936, in Cumberland City, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at his home.
Lin served his country in the United States Air Force. He ran the Lakeview Restaurant and Aloe 1st Skin Care before retiring. He was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle Church in Granite City. He was an avid golfer. Lin, loved his wife, kids, grandkids, great- grandkids, and many, many, friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamara Williamson; his parents; and two sisters, Marilyn Stafford, and Betty Jean Spicer.
Surviving are his wife, Dottie Spicer of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; two daughters, Tracie (Steve) Holland of Maryville, Ill., and Debbie (Phil) Mosley of Mobile, Ala.; a son, Jeff (Angela) Spicer of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; five grandchildren, Billy (Liz) Watson of Granite City, Ill., Jimmy (Ellie) Williamson of Wright City, Mo., Jessie Spicer of Pontoon Beach, Ill., Heather (Jimmy) Grant of Troy, Ill., and Zack Holland of Michigan; four great-grandchildren, Abel, Max, Gabrielle, and Cooper and a sister, Mildred Brooks of Greenville, Ill.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory, Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at the funeral home, with Rev. Henry Crippen officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
