Rev. Frieda I., nee Richards, Kerfoot, 91, of Maryville, Ill., born August 10, 1922, in Zalma, Mo., passed away at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at her residence.
Frieda had worked for the former Tri-City Grocery Store in Collinsville and Highland. She became an ordained Assemblies of God minister in 1944, and enjoyed working with the youth. Kids were her passion. She ministered at the Assembly of God in Collinsville, as well as Glenview Assembly of God in Granite City working with the youth and seniors. She was often called to preach revivals in churches in southeast Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Jacob and Lottie Myrl, nee Adams, Richards; a daughter, Dorothy Hopper; a brother, Lee Richard; a grandson, Charlie Manegre; and a great-great-grandchild.
Surviving are her husband of 72 years, Roy F. Kerfoot, whom she married on Nov. 15, 1941; a son, James (Lynne) Kerfoot of Maryville; two daughters, Betty Goforth of Maryville and Donna (Robert) Manegre of Valley Park, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 North Center Street, Maryville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Wilson and Rev. Tim O'Keefe officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
