Harry L. Perez, 93, of Maryville, Ill., born Aug. 12, 1920, in Terre Haute, Ind., died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Harry retired from Amax Zinc Co. in Sauget, Ill., after 15 years of service. Prior to that he worked for General Steel for 32 years, and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, nee SanGiuliano, Perez, whom he married Sept. 9, 1944; parents, Vino and Elizabeth, nee Davis, Perez; a brother, Manual Perez; three sisters, Josephine Johnson, Clara Lochmann, and Shirley Getz; a granddaughter, Christine Marie; and a son-in-law, Bill Healey.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Perez of Dupo, Ill., and Michael Perez of Collinsville, Ill.; three daughters, Mary (Bob Lapolla) Perez of San Diego, Calif., Margaret Epperheimer of San Jose, Calif., and Leslie Healey of Marlboro, Mass.; and a brother, Lawrence Perez of Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
