James M. "Jim" Hardesty, 76, of Collinsville, Ill., born June 7, 1937, in Advance, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his residence.
Jim was a truck driver for Affton Trucking Company, St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Beulah, nee McCullough, Hardesty; two sisters, Patsy Hardesty and Peggy Brown.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy, nee Cox, Hardesty, whom he married Sept. 21, 1957, in Collinsville, Ill.; two sons and two daughters, Kathy Lynn Hardesty of Collinsville, Ill., Randy Hardesty of Collinsville, Ill., Tim (Ann) Hardesty of Belleville, Ill., and Vicki Hardesty of Collinsville, Ill.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
