David Arnold Bosler, 73, of Tawas City, Mich., formerly of East Saint Louis, Ill., born Nov. 28, 1941, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at his home on Sunday, April 6, 2014, under the loving care of his family and hospice.
David graduated from Cahokia High School in 1959 and entered the United States Air Force. He was stationed at the Air Force base in Oscoda, Michigan, and proudly served our country from 1959 - 1964. He met and married Karen Montgomery while stationed in Oscoda, and together they had four beautiful children. He worked for William Look and Sons for several years as a mechanic before retiring in 2002. David enjoyed spending time with his family and working on old cars.
He was prececed in death by his parents, Orville and Sylvia, nee Simpson, Bosler; a brother, Jerry Bosler; and a nephew, Robert Bosler.
Surviving are his children Patricia (Sonny) Corbin, Paul (Debbie) Bosler, David (Kim) Bosler and Chris (Becky) Bosler; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandy (Roger) Gansmann; and several nieces and nephews.
David was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
