Catherine H. Storner, nee Buentgen, 91, born Sept. 3, 1922, in Belleville, Ill., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Storner was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, and also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a lifetime member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., and a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Marvin T. Storner Sr., whom she married on July 11, 1942, and who died June 8, 1982; her parents, John and Hilda, nee Wottowa, Buentgen; four brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Ron) Muckensturm of Belleville, Ill., and Kay (Dennis) Tribout of Swansea, Ill.; a son, Marvin T. (Charlee) Storner Jr. of Eureka, Mo.; five grandchildren, Michelle (Jack) Korves, Sherri Martz, Denny Tribout (fiancee Jessica Krauss), Jill (Darrin) Kraft, and Julie (Nate) Heltne; 15 great-grandchildren who called her "Old Momo"; and a brother, Ed Buentgen of Texas.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Father Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
