Eulah M. "Tee" Johnson, 87, of Granite City, Ill., born Jan. 26, 1927, in Charleston, Mo., passed away at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

She had worked many years as the accountant and secretary at Johnson's Music Store in Granite City, Ill., and retired in 1990 from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 10 years of service.

She was a dedicated and faithful member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Granite City, Ill., where she had served as a deaconess, deacon and trustee, and was active with the ladies craft group. She enjoyed needlework and her days of crocheting, knitting and working word puzzles. She was also a member of Senior Circle and enjoyed traveling and made many trips abroad after her retirement. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur "Jack" Johnson, whom she married Oct. 20, 1953, at Calvary Baptist Church, Granite City, Ill.; her parents, Walter and Della, nee Stanley, Stephens; and a daughter, Jeri Sue Johnson.

Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia L. Johnson of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Wanda (Bill) MacDonough of Panama, Ill.; a niece, Karen (Rick) Williams of Panama, Ill.; other extended family and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church and may be accepted at the funeral home.

Visitation: In celebration of her life, visitation will be held be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Rd., Granite City, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at First United Presbyterian Church, 2160 Delmar, Granite City, Ill., with Rev. Jeffery Welch officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
