Jean Bordeau

Jean M. Bordeau, nee Warboys, 82, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Dec. 14, 1931, in East Pembroke, N.Y., passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014, at her home with her family at her side.

During her working years, Jean sold for Avon for many years, was a manager of P. N. Hirsch, Belleville, Ill., and

manager of Dollar General, O'Fallon, Ill. She was an avid bowler, participating on two leagues each week, the Tuesday Morning Housewives, and Thursday Night Ladies League; and loved to watch Cardinals Baseball. "Go Cards!" She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the timeshare condo in Panama City Beach, Fla.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Bordeau, whom she married on July 10, 1952, and preceded her on March 3, 1998; a son Wayne L. Bordeau; her parents, Myron & Blanche, nee Casper, Warboys; a brother, Donald Warboys; and a sister, Marilyn Warboys.

She is survived by a son, Warren Bordeau (Debby Murphy) of Arlington, Texas; two daughters, Wanda Martin (Brian Schaefer) of New Athens, Ill., and Wendy (Clay Andres) of Freeburg, Ill.; a daughter-in law, Carole Shouse of Barnhart, Mo; a sister, Lucille Steeves of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, Alan (Pam)Warboys of Roswell, N.M.; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Edinger of Saginaw, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, Kyle Bordeau of Clarksville, Tenn., Kip (Janelle) Bordeau of Wonder Lake, Ill., Eric (Erin) Martin of Collinsville, Ill., Michelle Martin of New Athens, Ill., Nicole Schaefer of New Athens, Ill., Joshua (Jenna) Andres of Godfrey, Ill., and Kaitlin Andres (Mikal Guffey) of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a great-grandson Brady Martin of Collinsville, Ill., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Dickenson officiating. Interment will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
