Vicki J. Champion, nee Jarrett, 58, of Granite City, Ill., born Aug. 27, 1955, in Granite City, Ill., died Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Edwardsville, Ill.
Mrs. Champion was self employed and enjoyed over 30 years of hanging wallpaper and painting.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Amos Jarrett.
Surviving are her mother, JoAnn Jarrett, nee Rice of Granite City, Ill.; husband, Michael Champion of Granite City, Ill., whom she married on Aug. 20, 1988; daughter, Kristin E. Champion of Granite City, Ill.; sisters, Patti (Phil Dudak) Jarrett of Granite City, Ill., and Ann Marie (Derek) Mangiaracino of Granite City, Ill.; nephew, Ryan Mangiaracino of Granite City, Ill.; and niece, Megan Mangiaracino of Granite City, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City, Ill.
Funeral: A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Champion officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
