Dolores Hagarty

Dolores M. Hagarty, nee Champ, 86, of Belleville, Ill., born March 17, 1928, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Friday, July 11, 2014, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Mrs. Hagarty was a member of St. Luke's Parish, Belleville, Ill., and the Shiloh Eagles Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John C. "Jack" Hagarty, whom she married on Sept. 23, 1950, and who died April 15, 2011; her parents, Harold J. and Mary, nee Gleason, Champ; three brothers, James, William, and Tom Champ; and a daughter-in-law, Paula Hagarty.

Surviving are her nine sons, Michael Hagarty, Patrick (Linda) Hagarty, Gary (Pam) Hagarty, Jack (Anette) Hagarty, Timothy (Laura) Hagarty, Kenneth Hagarty, Donald Hagarty, Daniel (Cathy) Hagarty, and Kevin (Beth) Hagarty; 26 grandchildren, Michael (Jen) Hagarty, Kyle Hagarty, Curtis (Kim) Hagarty, Casey (Josh) Skelton, Corey Hagarty, Shawn Hagarty, Eric Hagarty, Heather Hagarty, Jennifer Hagarty, John Hagarty, Brenn Hagarty, Claire Hagarty, Caye Hagarty, Matthew Hagarty, Danielle (Jeremy) Shannon, Brendan Hagarty, Kenneth Hagarty Jr., Mary Hagarty, Kaitlyn Hagarty, Madison Hagarty, Melissa Hagarty, Tyler Hagarty, Brooke Hagarty (Bryan Hallengren), Hannah Hagarty, Garrett Hagarty, and Bridget Hagarty; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden, Caleb, and Addison Hagarty, Lena Skelton, Alec Barbeau, Lucas Shannon, and Jack Hallengren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, from the funeral home for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill., with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
