Norman Reuscher

Norman A. Reuscher, 88, of Edwardsville, Ill., born February 21, 1926 in Chester, IL, died at 2:11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice House in Edwardsville., Ill.

Mr. Reuscher was retired from Edwardsville School Dis-trict 7. He was a teacher of In-dustrial Arts and Coordinator of Work/Study Programs at Edwardsville High School for more than 30 years. He re-ceived his Masters Degree in Education from Southern Illi-nois University in Carbondale. He was a W.W. II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ed-wardsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lillian, nee Nordmeyer, Reuscher.; and a brother, William Reuscher.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Francis, whom he married on Nov. 17, 1944, in Madison, Wis., three children, Sharon Tebbano and Nancy Tynes, both of Ohio, and Kathy Rhoten of Edwardsville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren: a sister, Lela Gremmels of North Carolina; and a brother, Elmer Reuscher of Florida.

Funeral: A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville, Ill., with a luncheon immediately following.
