Nettie Parker

Nettie M. Parker, nee Pitcher, 79, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Tuesday, Nov. 20, 1934, in Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Nettie was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Parker; parents William and Mabel, nee Jones, Pitcher; daughter, Penecia Sue Parker; sister, Virginia Pitcher; and brothers, William T. Pitcher Jr., John Pitcher, James Pitcher and Herbert Pitcher.

Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn K. Bauer (Gary Schildroth); grandchildren, Jamie (Wes) Kimball, Jenna (Drew) Pigeon and Jackie Bauer (Sam Mead); and sisters-in-law, Barbara Pitcher of Cairo, Ill., and Stella Pitcher of Panama City, Fla.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Lake View Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Steve Phillips officiating.
