Jeremy Scott McCormick, 31, of Granite City, Ill., born Feb. 7, 1981, in Maryville, Ill., died at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in Granite City, Ill.
Surviving are his mother, Patty, nee Rousey, (Roger) Fountain of Granite City, Ill.; father, Jerry (Donna) McCormick of Edwardsville, Ill.; sisters, Nique "Nickie" Johnston of Texas, Monti Parchman of Texas, Michelle Roberson of Texas, and Angela (Pete) Fusaro of Maryville, Ill.; stepsister, Julia (Andy) Connor of Edwardsville, Ill.; and stepbrother, Steve (Karrie) Clow of Edwardsville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill., with Steve Arisman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.

Jeremy, I'm definitely still in shock right now. I can't beleive its you. It seems so unreal to me. I will always carry great memories of you and that big beautiful smile you always had. We had some really good times together, you always made me laugh. We had a great friendship that was unique and special and I will always remember you in this way. You really meant a lot to so many people and will really be missed. I am grateful that you came into my life and we could be friends, but so sad that you had to leave so soon. Rest in peace Jeremy.
