Roger R. Krummrich, 67, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Dec. 6, 1945, in Belleville, Ill., died Friday, April 19, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Krummrich retired from Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill., as the employee health coordinator after more than 30 years of service. He was a member and officer of the East Side Fire Fighters Association and a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairview Heights, Ill.
A U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, Roger was very patriotic, never forgetting to "Thank a Veteran" and say "Welcome Home." He was a supporter of the Wounded Warriors and an active member of the Patriot Guard Motorcycle Club. He participated in Run For The Wall, an annual 6,000 motorcycle trek from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., to honor and remember POWs and MIAs from all wars.
Roger's passions included barbecuing, making people laugh, and spending leisure time at the lake house with family, friends, and his canine companion, Ben.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Leota, nee Metcalf, Krummrich; and his father-in-law, Robert G. Young.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy K., nee Young, Krummrich; three daughters, Nikki (Jason) Miller of Belleville, Ill., Andrea (Jared) Massey of Columbia, Ill., and Kimberly (Randy) Costas of Fenton, Mo.; four grandchildren, Cole and Carson Miller, Hunter Massey and Dalton Clark; his brother, Wes (Sandy) Krummrich of Belleville, Ill.; and his mother-in-law, Jean Young of Kinmundy, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Shane Bishop officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.
