Betty M. Wobbe, 86, of Trenton, Ill., born Dec. 26, 1926, in Trenton, Ill., died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Country Side Manor in Aviston, Ill.
Betty retired from Scott Air Force Base as an administrative assistant. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Sodality.
She was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Bernard Wobbe; and her parents, Lester and Blanche, nee Faitz, Junghans.
Surviving are her husband, Victor Wobbe, whom she married on Sept. 25, 1946, at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden, Ill.; her children, Bonnie (Dennis) Dalke of Millstadt, Joseph (Nancy) Wobbe of New Baden, Gene (Brenda) Wobbe of Trenton, Jerome (Susan) Wobbe of O'Fallon, Barb (Larry) Olliges of Naperville, Beth (Gordon "Skip") Steck of Frankfurt; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dale (Georgia) Junghans of St. Louis, Mo.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, and 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Moss Funeral Home, Trenton, Ill. Trenton VFW Auxiliary service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Trenton, Ill., with Father Joseph Rascher officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Trenton, Ill.
