Buck Pyatt, 66, of Madison, Ill., born Jan. 14, 1947, in Granite City, Ill., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill.
Buck was the long time Mater Dei and manager at Charlie's Restaurant in Granite City and the owner of the Den. In his later years he was the owner of Pyatt Homes Services. The United States Army veteran proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. Buck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Annabell, nee Weeks, Pyatt; and a sister, Sandra Ruth Ann Pyatt.
Surviving are his sons, Noel (Amy) Pyatt of Granite City and Mike (Kathy) Pyatt of Granite City; grandchildren, Tyler, Michelle, Diane and Trever; brother, Howard Pyatt of Belle, Mo.; sisters, Leona "Bootie" Neutgens of Zimmerman, Minn., Sherrie Pyatt of Belle, Mo., Daisey "Cookie" Durbin of Belle, Mo., and Idanoel Kinney of Margate, Fla.; 23 grand-nieces and grand-nephews; dozens of loving cousins who will forever miss him; and best friends, Rich Harper and Charlie Hester.
Memorials are suggested to the family.

Funeral: Funeral service with military rites was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Irwin Chapel, Granite City. Please join the family at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, Ill., for a procession to the committal service at 11 a.m. at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Ill.
