Rose Marie Hurst, nee Bour, 90, of Swansea, Ill., born Sept. 18, 1923, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Hurst was a member of the Belleville Senior Citi-zens Club and the Belleville/ Swansea Women of the Moose.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Stanley Hurst, whom she mar-ried Jan. 20, 1944, and who died in June 1968; her parents, Frank and Marie, nee West, Bour; four sisters, Lila Macke, Margaret Voyles, Kathryn Knipp, and Fern Mank; three brothers, Joseph Macke, Fred Bour, and Frank Bour; and a grandson, David J. Hurst.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Stanley D. Hurst of Swansea, Ill., Gary R. (Jane) Hurst of Marissa, Ill., Donna Hurst Nicholson of Swansea, Ill., and Carol R. (Randy) Campbell of Swansea, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Khara Hurst, Gary D. Hurst, Jennifer Nicholson, Kendra (Jessica) Campbell, Bradley Campbell, Adam Campbell, and Lauren Nicholson; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Hurst, Madelyn Nicholson, Ja-son Smith, Login T. Smith, Emily Grace Smith, and Ella Nicholson; a sister-in-law, Bar-bara Bour of Belleville, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
