Philip H. Perschbacher, 80, of O'Fallon, Ill., born July 29, 1933, in Lebanon, Ill., passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at his home.
After 45 years, Philip retired from Granite City Steel, as a steel worker. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in O'Fallon, Ill.
Philip was preceded in death by his wife, Lois A., nee Brown, Perschbacher; son, Philip E. Perschbacher; and parents, Herman A. and Louisa K., nee Scheurer, Perschbacher.
Surviving are his daughter, Sue A. Dennert; six grandchildren, Scott and Karla Rogers, Brian and Angela Rogers, Todd Rogers, Aaron and Kayla Perschbacher, Gina Perschbacher, and Erica Dennert; 14 great-grandchildren, Austin Perschbacher, Zachary Dennert, Calab Dennert, Sadie Dennert, Melody Perschbacher, Robert Rogers, Daniel Rogers, Jeremy Rogers, Harley Rogers, Alex Rogers, Emma Rogers, Abbie Rogers, Eli Rogers, and Brody Rogers; and two sisters, Ann Voelkel, and Hermina and Dave Hawley.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Dickenson officiating. Interment will follow at O'Fallon City Cemetery, O'Fallon, Ill.
