Craig Buesking
Craig John Buesking, 47, of Kansas City North, formerly of Belleville, Ill., born July 6, 1959, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at his residence.
Craig attended Queen of Peace Elementary School and graduated from Althoff Catholic High School. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Craig was united in
Marriage to Karen McDaniel at Queen of Peace Church in Belleville, Ill., on May 21, 1988, and they have lived in Kansas City, Mo., since. Craig has been in sales for Johnson and Johnson, Hershey, and currently for himself in the real estate business and retail firewood business. His dynamic personality and zest for life have given him many friends, both in his outdoor activities and entrepreneurial interests.
Craig is preceded in death by his Belleville grandparents, Theresa and Joseph Poell and Florence and Albert Buesking; his father-in-law, Fred L. McDaniel; his cousin, Karen, nee Poell, Paulson; and his sister-in-law, Kathleen, nee McDaniel, Baudendistel.
Craig leaves his wife, Karen and daughters McLane "Lanee" and Kyndal Buesking, all of the home; his parents, Forrest and Lorraine Buesking of Belleville, Ill.; his sister, Theresa (Jim) Hurley of St. Louis, Mo.; and his brother, Curt (Melanie) Buesking of Lee's Summit, Mo.; He also leaves his mother-in-law, Louise McDaniel, brother-in-law, Kevin (Colleen) McDaniel, and brother-in-law, Bill Baudendistel, all of Belleville, Ill., as well as uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, Craig was bigger than life, he loved life, never met a stranger, and will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Belleville, Ill. There was a visitation held at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Kansas City, Mo., on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007.

Funeral: There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Belleville, Ill. with Fr. Jack McEvilly officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
