In loving memory of Terry Edward Franklin, born September 9, 1945 to Edward & Clara Franklin and died December 18, 2012.
Terry graduated Bellingham High School in 1964, served in the US Navy until 1967, and was a dedicated employee of Morse Steel for 43 years.
Terry was the beloved husband of Roberta (Robbie) Franklin for 45 years, devoted father to Mitch and Jason, proud and loving grandpa to Seth, dutiful brother, doting uncle, and loyal friend.
Terry was gone too soon after a short and courageous battle with cancer. We will miss his sense of humor, gentle nature, and unconditional love. May heaven embrace you, Terry, as you have all of us.
A viewing will be held in the chapel at Greenacres on Thursday, December 20th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and a funeral service will be held Friday, December 21st at 11:30 AM at Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Dr., Ferndale, WA.
Donations can be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.

robbie and mitch, i just found out about terry's passing and want you both to know i am very sorry for missing the service. although i have not seen him for a few years i will sincerely miss him. on the other side i am happy for him to be with one who left us way to early and know that was a blessed reunion. terry treated me like i was part of the family from the first time i met him and it is rare for me to find people like that in this world anymore. he was a unique and honest man and will be truly missed by many. it was my privilege to have known him. my thoughts and prayers are with you robbie and mitch.

I can't exactly put into words how empty this world is going to be without Terry, he was always there to crack a joke, lend a hand, and just put a smile on your face whenever you saw him. I feel priveleged and honored to have been a friend for many years and for the experience and good times our family's shared together. He will always be in our hearts as well as "the other special angel" that he has joined. We love you and will miss you Terry!

Robby & Mitch, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you are comforted with what an Angel he will be up there, and that he is with Jason. What an amazing man. I will never forget his "Donald Duck" voice that I made him do over and over everytime I saw him. My last memory of him was at Easter and what a happy memory. He alwasy cracked everyone up. This Year we will hide special "Terry eggs" in memory. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. We love you - Kristie
