Joseph, my grand nephew, you were a shining light for your family and I know that your parents are having a hard time now with the journey you are about to take. I am your Great Auntie Debi Solomon-Carter, as your Grandma Loreen Wilbur was my first cousin. My heart and prayers are with all of the family and may the Creator carry each of you near his heart while you do the work you must do. With love and hope for your future.

I'm so sorry for the loss Joseph's family has experienced; my deepest condolences go out to all those effected by his moving on from this world to the next. Joseph seems to have been unconditionally loved by many and will be sorely missed. I am a journalism student at Western Washington University, and it would be my honor to help bring the story of Joseph's life to light through photographs. Although I didn't know Joseph, I was moved by his obituary and how incredible his presence must have been, and would like to document his celebration of life tomorrow morning- with the compliance of the family, of course. My email is [email protected], please let me know if this will be possible. Thank you so much for your time.
