Mildred Anna (Polley) Wilson was born on August 20, 1921, to Louis and Elvira (Larson) Polley in Tacoma, Washington, and went to be with her Savior on September 2, 2013, at home in Bremerton, Washington. She was raised in Tacoma, and graduated from Stadium High School, as had her mother, one of the school's first students. She attended the College (now University) of Puget Sound where she pledged to Delta Alpha Gamma sorority, and where she met the love of her life, Gerald Wilson. Following their marriage, and after Jerry's return from the Navy, Milly accompanied him as he completed his education. Milly was an exceptional woman, an accomplished helper for her husband as he pastored several churches in Washington and Idaho, and loving mother to their three sons, Jim (Melinda) Dan (Gloria) and Steve (Ruth.) In addition to her husband Jerry and their sons, Milly is survived by her sister Dorothy Polley Thirtyacre of Tacoma. She leaves a legacy for her children, seven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren of love for family and loving devotion to the Lord. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13, at 3:00 in the afternoon, at Immanuel Bible Church in Bellingham, Washington, where Jerry and Milly served.
