SGM Harry Chichester, N7PMI/AAR0DF, was not only an acquaintance in the Kitsap County ARES/RACES team he was my mentor in Army MARS. Harry never missed an opportunity to help me as I progressed in my training. He was always positive and encouraging. He will be truly missed by the hams and MARS members who knew him. He was truly an extraordinary citizen. He served his country in three wars followed by further service as an amateur radio operator and MARS operator. Harry was a true hero and someone Americans should look up to.
