Emilia F. Chudek

Emilia F. Chudek, age 91, peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 4, 2011. She was born Oct. 11, 1919 in Everson to John and Mary (Rusz) Chudek. Emilia graduated from Mt. Baker High School; and became a librarian for Bellingham City Library where she worked for 20 years. She delighted in music and loved singing in choirs. A faithful member of Immanuel Bible Church, she shared her love for the Lord teaching Sunday School for many years. Emilia was preceded in death by her siblings Helen Chudek, John Chudek, Justina Rasmussen, Anne Scheffer and Carl Chudek. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service gathering will be held Friday, April 8, 11:00 am at Second Christian Reformed Church Educational Annex, 8th & Front St. in Lynden.
