Edith Branlund Obituary

Lifetime Bellingham resident Edith E.E. Branlund, age 85, passed away April 16, 2011. She was born January 1, 1926 in Bellingham to Otto and Emilie (Fritzsche) Hahnel. Edie married Clint Branlund in Bellingham in 1948. They owned and operated Bellingham Blueprinting for years. Edie and Clint were active in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the Bellingham Yacht Club and the Bellingham Elks Club. Her greatest passions in life were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Clint and her brother Alfred. She is survived by her son Scott (Sandra) and their children Christian (Taryn) and Megan; daughter Erika "Rikki" (Lyn) Buckley and their children Heather Burford, Athena Buckley and Katie Buckley, great-grandchildren Justin, Terrance, Amanda and Alex Burford, and sister Elizabeth (Morgan) Rethlefsen. A Funeral Service will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Thursday, April 21st at 11 AM, followed by a reception across the street at Westford's Broadway Hall.
